Only Present Moment

In the television series, 1883, Elsa Duncan experiences the moment when all of her memories and all of her dreams collapse into what is real for her.  She is experiencing her life in the present moment with the Awareness that she has only a few more moments of life before she passes on so she best make the most out of these present moments.

For Elsa Duncan, this moment of becoming aware is just a part of the screen play pursuant to which 1883 was filmed.

Yet, in fact, that moment when all of your memories and all of your dreams collapse does actually become a reality.

The question, of course, is not whether you will, but when will you, become Aware of this reality.

Because it is then, and only then, that you will be acting in a creative way pursuing what you want to create based upon your memories and your dreams.

Of course, there isn’t anything wrong thinking about the past (memories) or the future (dreams) as long as you are aware that you are doing so in the present moment knowing that the memories of the past and the dreams of the future are only memories and dreams that you are having in the present moment.
